 Club  Profile

The Barry Amateur Radio Society is a well established club, having been in existence for over 30 years with a current membership of over 40 active hams. The Society is very active in all aspects of Amateur Radio and computing.

We meet every Tuesday night at the Sully Sports and Leisure Club, South Road, Sully, Vale of Glamorgan, CF64 5SP

Having our own shack complete with a 60ft tower and 7 Element Triband Beam. The members interests encompass the full gamut of Amateur Radio from SSTV though all the Data Modes including Morse to Field Trips, Expeditions & Contesting, Special Events, we also have a very active computer section, these members are always willing to help with any computer problems you may have.

We also have a fully operational Morse practise laboratory together with the facilities to conduct Morse Tests,  under the control of Mr Roger Alban (GW3SPA) RSGB Morse Examiner.
